Who would have thought I would have inflammation in my hemorrhoids. I saw Dr. Adler today and he did an exam. He said they were a little irritated, not much to worry about. What he did was laser them suckers to reduce the swelling. The procedure itself, there was a tad bit if discomfort and slight pressure. He said the initial peek into my colon shows normal everything. That is good news, considering my family history of colon stuff going on.
I have to schedule a colonoscopy for the middle of January. Dr. Adler says not to let this colonscopy go. I have to stay on top of these things.
I have to eat dried apricots and dried dates. That helps with the softening of the stools. Also fruit, veggies and lost of water. He explains that when we don't get enough water intake, the body takes the moisture from the stool which causes constipation. So, there I have it.
